This meeting is part of the activities of UNEP OzonAction's Regional Montreal Protocol Network for Europe and Central Asia (ECA network). Simultaneous English – Russian interpretation will be provided.
This meeting is organised by the UNEP OzonAction Compliance Assistance Programme in cooperation with South Asia, Southeast Asia and Pacific Island Countries' Network. It is part of the Regional Network service that OzonAction CAP provides to Article 5 (developing) countries as part of its role as an Implementing Agency of the Multilateral Fund for the Implementation of the Montreal Protocol.
The aim of the workshop is to exchange information and agree on the necessary measures required to strengthen the enforcement of the licensing system on ODS trade between the seven selected countries and to prevent unauthorized movement of ODS. The Pilot NOU and Customs Twinning Workshop and back to back parallel Border Dialogues will set up a cooperation mechanism between the countries.
