e-deleGATE platform centralizes services from the UNEP Secretariat to Member States, Intergovernmental Organizations (IGOs) and UN entities. Major Groups and Stakeholders do not have access to e-deleGATE at this time.

Getting an Account

If you don’t have an e-deleGATE account, contact your e-deleGATE administrators in your Mission/Organization/Ministry.

They will create an account for you so you can receive CPR and UNEA-related correspondence.

 If you don’t know who your administrators are, please contact us.

Password reset

Due to Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), passwords can only be reset by administrators.

If you forgot your password:

  • Contact your organization’s e-deleGATE administrators.

If you are an administrator and forgot your password:

  • Contact another administrator in your organization.

E-mails from the UNEP Secretariat

  • Which emails will I receive?

    It depends on the modules your administrator gives you access to:

    UNEA Module – Emails about the United Nations Environment Assembly.
    CPR Module – Emails about the Committee of Permanent Representatives.

    Note: If you are not CPR-accredited, you can only access the UNEA Module.

  • Where can I see the emails sent by the UNEP Secretariat?

    Emails are sent to the address linked to your e-deleGATE account, if your profile includes the UNEA and/or CPR modules.

    You can also log in to e-deleGATE and check:

    • Nairobi → UNEP → UN Environment Assembly → Announcements
    • Nairobi → UNEP → Committee of Permanent Representatives → Announcements

  • e-Submit: share statements with the UNEP Secretariat

    Do I have access to e-Submit?
    Yes. If your administrator gives you access to the UNEA or CPR modules, you automatically get access to e-Submit.

    How do I submit a statement?

    1. Log in to e-deleGATE.
    2. Go to:
      Nairobi → UNEP → Committee of Permanent Representatives → e-Submit or Nairobi → UNEP → UN Environment Assembly → e-Submit
    3. Select the agenda item from the drop-down menu.
    4. Upload your statement as a PDF file only.

  • e-Speakers: inscribe speakers for National Statements during UNEA

    Delegates who are granted access by their access administrators to the e-Speakers module have the ability to inscribe their delegate on the list of speakers for national statements.

  • e-Proposals: submit and co-sponsor draft proposals for UNEA

    Delegates who are granted access by their access administrators to the United Nations Environment Assembly module will have access to e-proposals.

    e-Proposals is used before and during UNEA by Member States to initiate and co-sponsor draft proposals.

    It is also used by all users of e-deleGATE to access the latest versions of the drafts during negotiations.

  • e-Credentials: share electronic copy of credentials in advance of UNEA

    Delegates who are granted access by their access administrators to the e-Credentials module have the ability to share an advance scanned copy of their credentials for UNEA, signed by either the Head of State or Government or Minister of Foreign Affairs as well as other formal communications containing the names of representatives to the Environment Assembly (such as letters and notes verbales from the Permanent Missions or formal communications from Government Ministries). 

    The original hard copy of the credentials and other communications can be submitted by mail to P.O. Box 30552, 00100 Nairobi, Kenya, for the attention of the UNEP Principal Legal Adviser or, alternatively, be deposited at the credentials desk at the beginning of UNEA-7 (first and second day only)
