The Challenge

Ghana continues to suffer from unsustainable consumption of its natural resources, including forests, minerals, water and fish. Development efforts based on resource-efficient, cleaner production are seen as essential for achieving sustainable development while addressing pervasive environmental degradation. In Ghana, manufacturing, integrated waste management and tourism were identified as the priority sectors for SWITCH Africa Green interventions.
