Keep following this page for updates on the opening of applications for the 2027 cycle of the Young Champions of the Earth Award.  

Young Champions of the Earth are selected globally. Each winner has the chance to:

1. Grow their skills and business, including receiving US$10,000
2. Benefit from mentorship, workshops and access to a world-wide community of environmental experts
3. Build their VIP network at the Young Champions of the Earth award ceremony and other official events
4. Gain publicity and global recognition through interviews, speaking engagements and international media coverage
5. Compete in a pitch competition for the Planet A grant of up to US$100,000

Young Champions of the Earth are required to share their journeys through self-shot videos and short articles on this website for up to one year. Each Young Champion will receive a smartphone multimedia production kit, as well as communications training and mentorship.

The community 

More than just an honorary title, the Young Champions of the Earth award aims to nurture the next generation of environmental leaders. Applicants who demonstrate a strong willingness to learn will be granted access to mentoring and skill-building opportunities and to a community of like-minded entrepreneurs and experts.
