I was born and live in Hargeisa, Somaliland. In 2015, I graduated from the University of Hargeisa with a degree in Environmental Science. I passionately involve myself in various initiatives and programs to promote environmental awareness. I am committed to addressing the deteriorating environmental conditions in my country. In 2015, I established my own tree-planting programme. To date, I have mobilized more than 100 passionate individuals across the different regions of the country, to lead the change to save the environment. Together, we have planted thousands of trees across the country.
