Joint South Asia & South East Asia Thematic Meeting on National Strategies in Coordinating an HCFC Phase-out and HFC Phase-down

This meeting is part of the activities of UNEP OzonAction’s Asia Pacific Compliance Assistance Programme (CAP). The meeting is to review the strategy of how to integrate HFC issues into the ongoing HCFC phaseout activities. Experiences and lessons learnt on HFC phasing down strategy and policies from developed countries including USA, Japan, Australia, EU and analysis study from Multilateral Fund Secretariat (MFS) will be shared with the network countries. The break-out group discussion will brainstorm the challenges faced by countries as well as the integration options for HFC phase-down.
