15th ECA Meeting on HFC Freeze and Phase-Down Strategy Preparation

This meeting is part of the activities of UNEP OzonAction's Regional Montreal Protocol Network for Europe and Central Asia (ECA network). Its objective is to discuss and brainstorm on strategy elements to be considered when preparing HFC phase-down plans. The representative of the Fund Secretariat will explain the main approaches and concepts presented in ExCom document 84/65 on the integrated implementation of HCFC phase-out and HFC phase-down projects, and ExCom document 86/87 on potential strategies for the HFC phase-down. Participants and in particular implementing agencies are invited to actively contribute to the meeting. Beside the invited experts, participants include Article 5 and associated CEIT countries, bilateral partners, and partner agencies. The agenda items include:
