It is part of the Regional Network service that OzonAction's Compliance Assistance Programme (CAP) provides to Article 5 (developing) countries as part of its role as an Implementing Agency of the Multilateral Fund for the Implementation of the Montreal Protocol.        

This meeting is organised by the UN Environment OzonAction Compliance Assistance Programme (CAP) in cooperation with the Caribbean Network countries. It is part of the Regional Network service that OzonAction's CAP provides to Article 5 (developing) countries as part of its role as an Implementing Agency of the Multilateral Fund for the Implementation of the Montreal Protocol.

The meeting will address the following objectives: Identify NOU challenges and key priorities within the continuing global COVID-19 environment Provide support to countries with adapting implementation within the COVID-19 evolving environment Support countries with implementing the Kigali Amendment and ratification

This meeting will address key priority areas raised by Countries of the Caribbean Network which include: Emerging Refrigerant Technologies for the RAC Servicing Sector; Status of Ratification of the Kigali Amendment and Establishment of HFC Licensing Systems; Adjusting implementation of National Montreal Protocol programme of activities to adjust to the Global COVID-19 Environment; and other matters.

OzonAction has partnered with the  American  Society of  Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) to host the Caribbean Network of National Ozone OfficersThematic Meeting and AHR (Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration) Technology Tour during the ASHRAE Winter Conference, 1-4 February 2020 in Orlando, Florida, USA.
