Latin America and the Caribbean is a pioneer in Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP). The SCP has been established as a priority for the region, receiving high-level political support mainly from the Environment Ministers in specific Decisions adopted during its biannual regional Forums. The Ministers have established the regional priorities of SCP, such as developing national SCP policies, and supporting SMEs, sustainable public procurement and sustainable lifestyles.
