The Secretariat of the Basel Convention will be hosting a webinar as a follow up on the first meeting of its Plastic Waste Partnership Working Group that was held from 2nd to 5th March 2020 in Seychelles. As a member of this Working Group, the Cartagena Convention Secretariat was represented at this meeting which successfully concluded with agreements on several items, notably the establishment of project groups and consensus on activities that will be implemented by each project group.
