Presentation of the findings of the sixth Global Environment Outlook to the OECD's Environmental Policy Committee (EPOC)

A lunch time presentation of the findings of the sixth Global Environmental Outlook was added to the Environmental Policy Committee (EPOC) agenda on 26 September 2019. This session was combined with two panel discussions, one on environmental data and the other on marine litter. 

Presenters for the session included;

• Rodolfo Lacy, Director, Environment Directorate, OECD
• Tim Kasten, Deputy Director, Economy Division, UNEP
• Pierre Boileau, Head, Global Environment Outlook.

The session reviewed the main findings of the sixth edition of the Global Environment Outlook and the work of UNEP, OECD and specific countries on the issues of environmental data and marine litter. Similarities were noted across all the presentations from the thematic panels and greater collaboration was seen as the next step to ensure a coordinated approach.
