UNEP’s Major Groups and Stakeholders have been actively engaging with the work of the ad hoc open-ended working group on a science-policy panel to contribute further to the sound management of chemicals and waste and to prevent pollution (SPP OEWG 3.2).
Civil society participants for OEWG-3.2 and the Intergovernmental Meeting to consider the establishment of a science-policy panel organized back-to-back with OEWG 3.2 are invited to participate in the International Major Groups and Stakeholders (MGS) preparatory meeting. The stakeholder day is a preparatory meeting for civil society, self-organized by major groups and stakeholders. The meeting will take place 13:30 - 17:00 Saturday 14 June 2025.
Similarly, youth participants to OEWG-3 are invited to participate in the Youth Consultative Meeting (YCM) for the OEWG-3.2, taking place in Punta del Este on Saturday 14 June 2024 09:00-13:00. The meeting is self-organized by the Children and Youth Major Group.
