International Consultation for Major Groups and Stakeholders

All organisations accredited with UN Environment as well as others with an interest in the 5^th UN Environment Assembly (UNEA 5.2) in February 2022 are invited to an international consultation for Major Groups and Stakeholders held online on 7-9 September 2021.

The consultation is organised as part of our preparations for UNEA 5.2 as well as the events around UNEP@50 and Stockholm+50. The objective of the international consultation is to advance the development of strategies around specific initiatives such as resolutions, declarations, decisions tabled for UNEA 5.2, to further develop core messages and positions, and to prepare input from the Major Groups to the 8^th Annual Subcomittee meeting of the CPR and the 155^th session of the CRP following the consultation.

We are planning several sessions including plenary sessions and (parallel) working sessions on 7-9 September, every day between 01:00 – 5:00pm GMT+3 (Nairobi).
