About the Event

Many developing countries use the TNA process and resulting national climate technology action plans to inform the development and implementation of their Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), National Adaptation Plans (NAPs) and low-emission development strategies. There is also evidence that countries use TNA results to inform their Biennial Transparency Reports (BTRs).

This event will shed light on the diversity of approaches, modalities and support avenues used by developing countries to conduct TNAs and devise pathways for implementation of their TAPs. It will also highlight opportunities for developing countries to keep their technology priorities and action plan up to date for implementation.
