• Overview

The EmPower programme (jointly implemented by UN Women and UNEP) has made significant progress in integrating gender into climate policies and expanding climate finance for women-led enterprises. A remaining gap is the lack of standardized, high-quality, scalable training systems.

This regional workshop brings together national trainers, training institutes, and regional partners to harmonize clean energy and climate-resilient technology training. The goal: align content, delivery methods, learning outcomes, and quality standards – and enable scalable national roll-outs.

Participants include EmPower partner countries (Bangladesh, Cambodia, Indonesia, Philippines, Viet Nam), plus Bhutan, Nepal, and regional partners such as ASEAN Centre for Energy, AIT, CTCN, Rockefeller Foundation, and many others.
