About the event:
A full day in Bonn, convened by the UNFCCC, bringing together Parties and practitioners for an in-depth look at where Article 6 stands. The agenda covers the Paris Agreement Crediting Mechanism (PACM), the Article 6 infrastructure taking shape under the UNFCCC, and capacity building efforts underway. This event also aims to set aside space for frank, open discussion across both Article 6.2 and the PACM, their readiness, the tools available, and the decisions Parties must now make as these markets move from design to operation.
UNEP Copenhagen Climate Centre will set the scene, drawing on the Article 6 Pipeline to highlight emerging activity under Article 6.2 and the PACM, participation trends, and where countries stand on implementation readiness.
