13th Global Major Groups and Stakeholders Forum (GMGSF-13) 2012

In preparation of the 12th special session of the Governing Council/Global Ministerial Environment Forum (GC/GMEF) held in February 2012, UNEP organized the 13th Global Major Groups and Stakeholders Forum (GMGSF-13) from 18-19 February 2012 in Nairobi, Kenya.

This forum was meant to facilitate Major Groups and Stakeholders’ participation in the UNEP Governing Council and its associated meetings. GMGSF-13 also provided one of the last opportunities for Major Groups and Stakeholders and Governments to exchange on their respective positions for Rio+20 and strategize further for the conference itself.
