The 21st Global Major Groups and Stakeholders Forum (GMGSF 21) provided an open and participatory platform for civil society engagement and served as the preparatory meeting for Major Groups and Stakeholders ahead of the seventh session of the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA-7).
The GMGSF was self-organized by Major Groups and Stakeholders, with facilitation and support from the Major Groups and Facilitating Committee (MGFC).
The GMGSF brought together a broad and diverse group of civil society participants from around the world. A total of 809 participants attended the Forum, including 703 participants in person at the venue and 106 participants joining online, reflecting strong global engagement and inclusive participation in the preparatory process ahead of Seventh Session of the United Nations Environment Assembly.
