Climate change, fragility and conflict: tackling the challenge of data and analytics

In this event, international institutions active in supporting conflict-affected and fragile states to address climate-related security risks will discuss challenges related to data and context-specific risk analysis and sketch out opportunities for partnerships that can overcome the limitations individual institutions face on their own.

UNEP will participate in the panel discussion as one of the leading organizations on climate-security data analytics. As part of the discussion, UNEP will share information about its STRATA platform and partnership with the EU, and comment on challenges and opportunities in this field.
