Information session organized by the Quadripartite organizations (FAO, UNEP, WHO, and WOAH) and hosted by the AMR Multi-Stakeholder Partnership Platform (AMR MSPP) to share progress on the establishment of the Independent Panel on Evidence for Action against AMR (IPEA).
The event will be held over two days:
- 18 November: Session for Government and intergovernmental stakeholders
- 19 November: Session for Non-State actors, including research and academia, the private sector, civil society organizations, financial institutions, and philanthropic organizations.
The Quadripartite organizations will present and discuss a comprehensive set of documents — including the advanced version of the Founding Document, and the zero draft of the operationalization documents to be considered by the Panel when established: the Rules and Procedure, the Conflict of Interest Policy, and the Process for Developing the Work Programme — developed based on inputs gathered through the multi-stakeholder consultations held via the AMR MSPP.
These sessions aim to be a dialogue bringing greater clarity on the process and ensuring that all stakeholders remain informed, engaged, and aligned as the work advances. The sessions will also outline the next steps in the establishment of the Panel. More information and relevant documents
