Run Wild 3.0 Challenge

When: 24 September 2021 - 3 October 2021

Mountains are marked by human impact and littered with waste, threatening animals and plants living in these fragile ecosystems. Run Wild 3.0 highlights the role that humans play in the degradation of wild spaces and encourages action to reconnect with nature. During a ten-day digital running challenge, starting on September 24th, athletes can download the free Adidas running app, track their activity distance and try to outrun GPS-tracked mountain lion Gaia from the U.S. Pacific Northwest. At the same time, they learn about ‚leave no trace‘ principles, environmental protection and support S.P.E.C.I.E.S., a conservation organization working to protect carnivores and their habitats.
