The Resumed Eighteenth Session of the African Ministerial Conference on the Environment (AMCEN) will be held in Dakar, Senegal from 12th to 16th September 2022 with the theme “Securing people’s well-being and ensuring environmental sustainability in Africa”. The focus of this year’s session will be on the need for a people-centered recovery with an emphasis on people’s well-being through environmentally friendly actions that do both, create jobs and improve livelihoods.
The pre -AMCEN meeting for the Africa civil society will be taking place from 11 to 12 September 2022 at King Fahd Palace, Dakar, Senegal. The Africa Regional Facilitators are leading the agenda drafting process.Contact Ayman and David.
