This event will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the UNEP Regional Seas Programme.

The aim is to:

  • Reflect on its journey, demonstrate the value of a regional approach in ocean governance, and exchange views under the theme "Strengthening Ocean Governance for people, nature, and climate." 
  • Showcase major milestones and contributions toward global environmental objectives.
