Reception hosted in the Business & Buildings Pavilions, by the Built Environment Coalition, of which the UNEP-hosted Global Alliance for Buildings and Construction forms part.

A celebration of the successes of #BuildingToCOP Coalition. Representatives of the core coalition members will gather to underline the achievements and announcements of CBRE Day and set the stage for the Coalition moving forward.

The reception is framed by our shared vision:

By 2030, the built environment should halve its emissions, whereby 100 per cent of new buildings must be net-zero carbon in operation, with widespread energy efficiency retrofit of existing assets well underway, and embodied carbon must be reduced by at least 40 per cent, with leading projects achieving at least 50 per cent reductions in embodied carbon.

By 2050, at the latest, all new and existing assets must be net zero across the whole life cycle, including operational and embodied emissions.

Please join us as we bring together the built environment sector to reflect on the progress made in this critical sector at Glasgow, reaffirm our commitment to deepen collaboration across the sector and look forward to the shared actions and pathways we must take to get us to 2030.
