Under the theme “Catalyzing Climate Tech: Unlocking Bioeconomy Pathways for Systemic Change,” the event will examine how climate technologies can accelerate the bioeconomy as a transformative driver of sustainable development and climate action.
It will introduce the Climate Technology Progress Report 2025 and its key messages, with a special focus on the Latin America and the Caribbean regional chapter. The session will explore rapidly advancing bioeconomy innovations such as biomass conversion, bio-based materials, sustainable agriculture, land-use practices, and carbon sequestration while outlining regional opportunities, barriers, and pathways to enhance climate ambition.
