How can countries translate ambitious climate commitments into bankable investments that accelerate implementation?

Co-hosted by the International Climate Initiative (IKI) Türkiye and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), this NDC Clinic will bring together government leaders, international financial institutions, development partners, the private sector and technical experts to explore practical approaches to financing the implementation of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs).

The programme will feature high-level opening remarks and a panel discussion on financing climate action in Türkiye, followed by presentations highlighting international and national experiences in mobilizing investment for NDC implementation. In the afternoon, participants will take part in interactive roundtable discussions focused on key investment challenges and opportunities, including integrating climate risk into financial solutions, unlocking private sector investment, incentivizing the decarbonization of high-emitting industries, and mobilizing finance for electrification and the clean energy transition.

The event aims to foster dialogue, facilitate peer learning and strengthen collaboration between policymakers, financial institutions, businesses and development partners to help turn climate ambition into investable, implementable action.
