UNEP, in collaboration with Frankfurt School, is pleased to announce the official Launch Webinar of the Call for Proposals under the CICSA Phase II initiative.

The webinar will provide a clear, operational overview of the opportunities offered by the Call, addressed to developers ready to develop and implement clean captive installations for commercial and industrial (C&I) offtakers such as manufacturing facilities, food processing plants, healthcare institutions, and other energy-intensive enterprises.

The event also offers a valuable opportunity for direct engagement with the promoting institutions, fostering dialogue among stakeholders and connecting with innovators driving sustainable energy solutions in Africa.

About CICSA

CICSA is supported by the International Climate Initiative (IKI) of the Federal Government of Germany, anchored in the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Climate Action, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMUKN). Selected individual projects are also under the responsibility of the Federal Foreign Office (AA).

Grant types and amount

  • Transaction costs / financing vehicle setup (up to USD 300,000)
  • Capacity building & training (up to USD 200,000)
