As attention grows around forecasts of a potential strong El Niño event and its implications for wildfire risk worldwide, FAO and UNEP invite you to join the upcoming webinar series under the Global Fire Management Hub: Anticipating Risk: El Niño and Integrated Fire Management.
The webinars will bring together leading experts and practitioners to explore what current climate forecasts tell us about wildfire risk, what these forecasts mean for countries and communities, and how integrated fire management approaches can strengthen prevention, preparedness, and risk mitigation efforts.
To accommodate participants across different regions, two sessions will be offered. The first session will be conducted in English, while the second session will be held in English with Spanish interpretation available.
