The UNEP Working Group on Nitrogen was established to facilitate the implementation of resolutions 4/14 and 5/2 on “Sustainable nitrogen management”.

The seventh meeting of the UNEP Working Group on Nitrogen is scheduled to take place from 1 – 2 July 2025.

To accommodate participants across different time zones, the meeting will take place over two days, from 1 to 2 July, with two sessions scheduled each day. Both sessions will cover the same content, allowing participants to attend the one that best fits their schedule.

  • Morning session:  9:00 - 12:00 EAT/Nairobi time (for the Eastern Hemisphere)
  • Afternoon session: 17:00 - 20:00 EAT/Nairobi time (for the Western Hemisphere)

The meeting will be conducted in English and online only
