LAC Regional Meeting in preparation of the OEWG 3 on a science-policy panel on chemicals, waste and pollution prevention

Following discussions with the ad hoc Open Ended Working Group (OEWG) Bureau, and subject to the availability of funds, it was agreed to convene regional meetings in preparation for the third session of the ad hoc open-ended working group on a science-policy panel on chemicals, waste and pollution prevention.

The SPP OEWG Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) Regional Meeting in preparation for the third session of the ad hoc open-ended working group on a science-policy panel on chemicals, waste and pollution prevention will be hosted in-person on 23 - 24 May 2024 in Hilton Garden Inn Hotel, Montevideo, Uruguay.

The meeting will be conducted in English and Spanish.

The aim of the regional meetings was to allow for the regions to prepare for the third session of the OEWG, scheduled for 17 - 21 June 2024, CICG, Geneva.
