Target audience: Policy makers, practitioners, and experts leading the design and implementation of green public procurement and eco-labelling policies in the Asia-Pacific region

Background: The Asia Pacific Green Public Procurement Workshop is part of the Korea Environmental Industry and Technology Institute and UN Environment Programme pilot projects to strengthen the capacity of national governments in the Asia Pacific to implement green public procurement policies and eco-labelling schemes through the provision of policy consultations and technical assistance tailored to the needs of the partner countries.

Objectives: The workshop is organized specifically for sharing outcomes of the Asia Pacific Green Public Procurement Partnership Project in Thailand and Viet Nam and disseminating practices and experiences of countries across Asia and the Pacific. In addition, the workshop is organized to introduce a newly launched Green Public Procurement Plus Project to continuously support market development for eco-friendly products and services and facilitate achievement of SDG Target 12.7 (Implementation of Sustainable Public Procurement) in a partner country.
