The midterm workshop of the GEF-funded project ‘Continuing Regional Support for the POPs Global Monitoring Plan under the Stockholm Convention’ in the Asia Region was held on 8-10 August 2018 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. 

The midterm workshop aims to strengthen communication among core partners on the progress of the 2nd phase POPs Global Monitoring Plan (GMP2) in the Asian Region, and to discuss about future needs, opportunities and challenges beyond GMP2, as well as the sustainable monitoring of POPs on nation, regional and global level.
