The Road to Glasgow: An Informative Workshop to Coordinate FBO Actions Leading to COP26

On 26 May 2021 2pm-3.30pm CET, UNEPs Faith for Earth will host an informative workshop on FBOs’ initiatives and efforts towards COP26 as well as their suggestions for a long-term strategy. The workshop seeks to accelerate climate action among different stakeholders in an informative, inclusive, and action-oriented way, whereby:

• Part 1 informs about the findings of the Survey on Faith-Based Climate Action conducted by the Interfaith Task Force on Climate Change, and the Faith and Science Dialogue Series presented by the Vatican and the British and Italian Embassies to the Holy See
• Part 2 highlights excellent examples of faith-based activities in the lead-up to and during COP26, which will be shared by World Vision, the All Africa Conference Of Churches, the Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation, and the World Council of Churches
• Part 3 provides an open forum to discuss the status quo, consolidate collaborative efforts, and plan the next steps together.
