• Overview

The GEF-funded project “Global best practices on emerging chemical policy issues of concern under the Strategic Approach to International Chemicals Management (SAICM)” aims at developing tools and guidance for stakeholders in the toys value chain to better track and manage chemicals of concern in their products. The goal of this workshop is to present the tools and guidance developed during the project’s duration, share the main learnings of the project, and enable exchange of knowledge and best-practices between stakeholders. The workshop is aimed towards stakeholders that want to address chemicals of concern in toys and to strengthen toy safety:

  • Industries in the toys value chain (raw material suppliers, manufacturers) and industrial associations
  • Retailers
  • Regulators, government representatives
  • International standardization organisations
  • Civil society representatives
