UNRSF project: Safer and cleaner used vehicles for Africa 1st exporting countries stakeholders group meeting

On 18 December, the first meeting of exporting countries stakeholders took place virtually with more than 50 participants talking about the regulatory frameworks in place today to regulate the cross border exchange of vehicles.

International instruments such as the Basel convention were introduced in details, together with local regulations in Europe and the Netherlands. A second part of the workshop focused on the digital exchange of vehicle information to prevent falsification of vehicle documentation.
