DR Congo: Post-conflict environmental assessment

At the request of the DR Congo Government, UNEP has conducted a comprehensive, two-year environmental assessment in conjunction with the Ministry of Environment, Nature Conservation and Tourism.

The outcomes of the Post-Conflict Environmental Assessment are presented in various publications and related resources, including 20 case studies. The synthesis report, released on 10 October 2011, sets out the key policy actions and summarizes the assessment’s main findings. The main report is due to be published in early 2012.
