Advancing Resilience in Cities and Urban Areas: Drawing Insights From Urban Ecosystem-based Adaptation Projects in Asia

The Global Adaptation Network, together with the Asia-Pacific Adaptation Network, are organizing this joint session at the 4th Gobeshona Global Conference. This virtual event will showcase projects on urban Ecosystem-based Adaptation as an integral strategy of locally led adaptation initiatives in Asia. In particular, the session aims to:

• Highlight approaches and milestones from implemented urban EbA projects in the region,
• Gather lessons learned from urban and peri-urban EbA projects in the region through presentations and dialogues,
• Draw insights on project implementation from key actors to include local governments and civil society organisations.
