Our Climate Change Mitigation experts have implemented more than 150 GEF-supported projects across more than 140 countries to date. Our current portfolio includes 96 active projects across 109 countries.
The team provides technical support to countries to develop projects using their GEF STAR allocation in the Climate Change Focal Area. Countries are at liberty to use their allocation to develop standalone projects or join other countries within a Programme.
