Update on Project Results

Iran has established a database of chemicals used in the Lavan Oil Refinery Company and produced a range of reports on best available techniques including on corrosion and energy, microbial management in industrial water system, POPs emission management and wastewater management. Two brochures dealing with waste and POPs emission were prepared and circulated to relevant industry organizations to raise awareness of cleaner production approaches. Iran also produced a risk and impact assessment and prepared a guidance on gender mainstreaming.
