Cognisant that ‘pollution’ and the ‘pollution crises' present a complex and wide range of challenges, faith actors represent the far-reaching voices for social justice

Facilitating a global interfaith response to the pollution & waste crises

Considering the potential of faith actors at all levels in driving social transformative change and changes in consumption and production patterns, the Multifaith Action Group for Pollution Action serves four main objectives, namely to:

  1. Encourage and scale up interfaith activities, projects, and campaigns;
  2. Identify good practices and promote knowledge sharing and exchanging to overcome identified barriers for action;
  3. Coordinate actions amongst faith-based organisations at the local, national, and global levels; and
  4. Advocate for ambitious policies by participating in negotiations with Member States and other stakeholder groups.
