Frida Amani is a Tanzanian rapper, media personality, environmental advocate and social activist who uses her music for positive change. Widely recognized as her country’s most influential female rapper, her lyrics often address issues such as ecosystem restoration, land management, traditional knowledge and more. Beyond hip-hop, she co-hosts the popular daily radio show “Amplifaya” on Clouds FM, inspiring a new generation of listeners.
Amani is the creator of Performance for Nature, a platform where artists use music to promote environmental conservation, and she leads the MTOE MAMA GIZANI campaign, which brings solar power to rural maternity wards. Her “Amka Malkia – Wake Up Queen” initiative empowers girls through sport and mentorship.
