Sven Schmitz-Leuffen is a Swiss environmental engineer and information management specialist. Sven has over 15 years of work experience in 10 different countries tackling natural resource management and pollution remediation challenges. After starting his career in the private sector, he worked with different governmental and non-governmental entities on various environmental matters and has specialized in using geographical information systems and various other digital technologies. Sven holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from EPFL (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology) and a complimentary certificate in Geomatics from the University of Geneva.
