Partners

SWITCH Africa Green is sponsored by the European Union and implemented by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and European Union delegations in participating countries. Other programme partners include the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), One Planet Network, and the African Roundtable on Sustainable Consumption and Production, who contribute their experience and expertise in poverty and the environment, sustainable consumption and production, the green economy and sustainable development. The main government partners are the relevant ministries (environment, industry, agriculture, tourism, economy and finance) and the national environmental protection and management authority.

SWITCH Africa Green also partners with the private sector, intermediary business organizations (not-for-profit) and micro-, small and medium-sized enterprises through policy dialogue, networking and national-level projects in the seven participating countries.
