To strengthen this work, UNEP fosters dialogue and multi-stakeholder cooperation with the environment and trade communities to jointly advance toward a sustainable and circular textile sector. (Read more: Roundtable on Trade, the Circular Economy, and Sustainable Development in the Textiles and Clothing Sector)

In addition, UNEP analyzes the trade of used textiles and the value chain dynamics in Ghana, Kenya, Pakistan and Tunisia, proposing  a framework to assist countries in differentiating used textiles from textile waste, adaptable to their national context (Read more: Circularity and Used Textiles Trade Project).
