The workshop aims to facilitate the capacity building of the nominated new National Ozone Officer/National Ozone Unit (NOU) staff. It will provide nominated participants with essential information about the Montreal Protocol including country obligations under the treaty and the main responsibilities and functional areas of the NOU.

The workshop aims to facilitate the capacity building of the nominated new National Ozone Officer/National Ozone Unit (NOU) staff. It will provide nominated participants with essential information about the Montreal Protocol including country obligations under the treaty and the main responsibilities and functional areas of the NOU.

This meeting is part of the activities of UNEP OzonAction's Regional Montreal Protocol Network for Europe and Central Asia (ECA network). Simultaneous interpretation of English – Russian will be provided.

This workshop is organised by the UNEP OzonAction Compliance Assistance Programme in cooperation with the Pacific Island Countries' Network. The workshop aims to discuss the way forward for the adoption and enforcement of Standard Operating Guidelines (SOG) as well as other regulations related to the safe use of flammable refrigerants at the national level and explore how to engage stakeholders in this process.

This workshop is organised by the UNEP OzonAction Compliance Assistance Programme in cooperation with South Asia and Southeast Asia Network. The objectives of the virtual workshop are to provide an overview of the existing international standards related to the Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning (RAC) sector, identify essential standards that need to be adopted/developed, and explore how to engage stakeholders to enforce relevant safety standards at the national level.

This meeting is part of the activities of UNEP OzonAction's Regional Montreal Protocol Network for Europe and Central Asia (ECA network). During the first part of the meeting, UNDP and Guidehouse will present their recently approved project on cooling efficiency in the context of the Kigali Amendment.

This meeting is organised by the UNEP OzonAction Compliance Assistance Programme (CAP) in cooperation with the Pacific Island Countries' Network. It is part of the Regional Network service that OzonAction's  CAP provides to Article 5 (developing) countries as part of its role as an Implementing Agency of the Multilateral Fund for the Implementation of the Montreal Protocol.

This virtual network meeting aims to update the latest development of policy and technical aspects under the Montreal Protocol at the global level, exchange ideas on how to keep delivering the approved activities under Multilateral  Fund during COVID-19  pandemic, review the CAP services provided to countries as well as ongoing/planned regional activities and hear the needs of countries.

This meeting is organised by the UN Environment OzonAction Compliance Assistance Programme (CAP) in cooperation with the Caribbean Network countries. It is part of the Regional Network service that OzonAction's CAP provides to Article 5 (developing) countries as part of its role as an Implementing Agency of the Multilateral Fund for the Implementation of the Montreal Protocol.
