The Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C), in collaboration with the GEF CReW+ and UNEP Caribbean Environment Programme (CEP) and Cartagena Convention Secretariat, are pleased to offer a limited number of full and partial scholarships to successful applicants interested in completing a Water and Wastewater Operators Course.

This month’s Caribbean Community Hangout aims to bring together a diverse range of experts  to share knowledge, best practices, and innovative solutions for addressing the sargassum crisis in the Caribbean region. The Caribbean is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The sky is a perfect shade of blue, the sand has a pristine white tone, and the water is teeming with life.

GWP-C has launched an Open Call for Caribbean journalists, content creators, media practitioners, or persons interested in water and wastewater management to produce high-quality 5-minute videos on Integrated Water and Wastewater Management (IWWM).

A resolution adopted this week at the United Nations General Assembly in New York is being hailed as a victory for climate justice. The resolution means that the UN General Assembly will seek the opinion of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) on countries’ obligations to address climate change.
