Adopted by the First International Conference on Chemicals Management (ICCM1) on 6 February 2006 in Dubai, the Strategic Approach to International Chemicals Management (SAICM) was a policy framework to promote chemical safety around the world.
In September 2023, the Global Framework on Chemicals was adopted. It supersedes SAICM.
During SAICM's existence from 2006 - 2024 it held a number of events. Please see below the key events that SAICM held and associated documents.
