The Digital Demand-Driven Electricity Networks Initiative (3DEN) was launched in 2021 by the Italian Ministry of Environment and Energy Security, in collaboration with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the International Energy Agency (IEA). 3DEN drives digital innovation in energy systems by implementing digital solutions to improve energy efficiency at the user, city, industry and agrifoods levels resulting in less emissions for the planet and more energy for the people.
This event will showcase pilot projects supported under Phase I of the 3DEN Initiative, higlighting their environmental and social impact. The event will also announce Phase II of 3DEN which will support 14 projects across Africa and Brazil.
