Country Progress and Political Action on AMR in Agrifood Systems: Building Towards the UNGA High-Level Meeting on AMR in 2024

The Global Leaders Group on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) is holding a virtual event titled "Country Progress and Political Action on AMR in Agrifood Systems: Building Towards the UNGA High-Level Meeting on AMR in 2024" during the UN Food Systems Summit +2 Stocktaking Moment in 2023.

This event is aimed at discussing:

• country priority actions on AMR within agrifood systems,
• reducing the AMR risk and the need for antimicrobials in the agrifood systems applying a One Health approach,
• the upcoming UNGA 2024 High-Level Meeting on AMR and priority actions to address AMR from farm to fork for more sustainable, resilient, inclusive, and efficient agrifood systems.
