The first meeting of the Bureau of the Forum of Ministers of Environment of Latin America and the Caribbean will be held in the Bolivar Palace, the main office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Panama, in Panama City on 20 May 2026.

This meeting will provide an opportunity to define the Forum’s strategic direction, building on the outcomes of the 2024 Special Session and its previous meeting held in October 2025 in Lima, Peru. It will enable the agreement on a clear, prioritized, and results-oriented roadmap for 2026–2027, which will strengthen the Forum’s capacity to promote more integrated, coherent, and effective regional action.
